I was a fan of Japan Airlines ever since I was little and was playing Jet the Go! on the PS1 and I wanted to bring that special era of my life into a storefront illustration.

For this drawing I was looking into making a different structure for the house, something old but not made of woods from the outside and I found some houses in that style and used as reference.

I also wanted the put a Boeing 747 a plane that I love somewhere in the drawing, for me in the roof would be perfect as a sign of it flying away, and because the house I found was in Kyoto I also wanted to have the mascot of the Kyoto Airport (Kansai) to be in the drawing.

The final drawing was perfect in my opinion very cute and different from the houses I'm used to draw and looks very fun with the mascot next to it!
